Yesterday, Dixon and me, and our friends Ellie and James took a trip and hired a boat on the River Ouse in York. The weather wasn't fantastic, but we had a little sun, and the best time. The trip coincided with clever Ellie getting some amazing news about an amazing job, so we had reason to celebrate!

I highly recommend it to anyone if you have the chance.

Even though I love boats, its the first time I've actually been on one, and it was terrifying driving it myself at first, mainly trying to avoid a group of rowers with a speed boat in toe, but after a while we all got the hang of it. York is a beautiful city, and seeing it by boat was amazing, we saw loads of ducklings too! We had the boat for 3 hours in all, and we're definitely going back again, but maybe this time we'll hire one with a toilet...
